Biography

Dr. Suchismita Bhuyan has over 24 years of experience as a practicing lawyer, with expertise spanning corporate litigation, intellectual property disputes, family law, criminal defense, legal operations, drafting, legal due diligence, statutory compliances, and strategic NPA recoveries.

She is the founder and principal attorney of Delhi Legal Firm, which has grown steadily over the years. "I work with some incredibly loyal people, and I consider myself fortunate to be part of such a dedicated team," she says.

Throughout her career, Dr. Bhuyan has had the opportunity to represent clients from diverse backgrounds and industries. Each case has presented unique challenges, requiring her to think critically, negotiate effectively, and advocate passionately for her clients.

She is highly proficient in drafting and reviewing legal documents, including various types of agreements, plaints, written statements, affidavits, writ petitions, civil and criminal appeals, and contracts related to contract labor, services, supplies, dealership, and licensing.

Her experience extends to litigation management for resolving potential business and legal issues before various courts, including the Supreme Court of India, High Courts, and multiple judicial forums.

She has also managed arbitration cases, preparing key documents such as reference letters, claim statements, proofs of service, rejoinders, counterclaims, and written submissions for commercial lease disputes and other cases across India.

One of the most rewarding aspects of her career has been the ability to make a positive impact on her clients’ lives. Whether helping a victim of injustice secure deserved compensation or providing legal counsel to a struggling family, Dr. Bhuyan finds immense satisfaction in using her skills and knowledge to assist others.

She has successfully represented her clients past twenty four years with various types of cases. Previously she was panel lawyer of IREDA (Government of India Organization) and Northern Railway. Her work has been appreciated various occasions by her clients and organizations. Also she has been closely attached with various social organizations. She is too much ambitious on success of her client cases. She is very much focused each and every case irrespective of the merit of the case because her stands is very clear to provide justice to her clients.

She is an active member of Supreme Court bar association of India, and American Bar Association as well as other bar associations. Also she has been invited of various legal seminars.
